INDIANA, Pa. — The Kutztown University women’s volleyball team concluded the PSAC/WVIAC Crossover at Indiana, Pa., Saturday with two wins, sweeping both Fairmont State and Seton Hill.

KU (8-2) defeated Fairmont State 3-0 with wins of 30-8, 30-22 and 30-28, before handing Seton Hill three setbacks, 30-28, 30-25 and 30-22.

Against Fairmont State, Lindsay Confer (fr. Wingate/Bald Eagle) had 14 kills, Erin Waters (sr. Waymart/Western Wayne) had 12 and Katie Miller (so. Elizabethtown/Elizabethtown) had 10.

Austin Kinney (jr. Landisville/Hempfield) had 39 assists, while Jamie Celia (fr. Douglassville/Daniel Boone) and Nicole Biuso (sr. Centereach, N.Y./Ward Melville) had 13 and 12 digs, respectively.

Waters led the way against Seton Hill with 11 kills and three blocks, while Miller and Confer each had eight kills and two blocks. Kinney added another 34 assists and had 14 digs. Biuso had 10 digs in the match and Catie Leahy (fr. Collegeville/Perkiomen Valley) had 11 digs.

KU will travel to Cheyney for its first PSAC East contest of the season at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
