KUTZTOWN, Pa. — Katie Miller (so. Elizabethtown/Elizabethtown) had 17 kills and Jamie Celia (fr. Douglassville/Daniel Boone) had 35 assists and 10 digs as the Kutztown University women’s volleyball team defeated Millersville Tuesday night at Keystone Arena.

Nicole Biuso (sr. Centereach, N.Y./Ward Melville) had 27 digs in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference East contest. KU (11-2, 3-0 PSAC East) won 30-19 in game one and dropped game two 30-28 before winning 30-14 and 30-27 to close out the match.

Kaitlyn Cunliffe (fr. Levittown/Pennsbury) had 20 digs and Catie Leahy (fr. Collegeville/Perkiomen Valley) added 18. Kelsey Nester (fr. Catasauqua/Catasauqua) had 15 digs and five blocks.

Erin Waters (sr. Waymart/Western Wayne) had 10 kills.

KU will return to the court on Friday at the East Stroudsburg Tournament. The Golden Bears will start at 4 p.m. against Bridgeport and play again at 8 p.m. against Tiffin. The tournament continues at noon Saturday for KU with a matchup against Bryant before squaring off against Caldwell at 2 p.m.
