served up 15 aces to lead Kutztown to a 3-0 win over Cheyney in the
PSAC East opener.
Game scores were
30-2, 30-6 and 30-3.
Alex Thomas (fr.
Quakertown/Quakertown) added nine aces, while dishing out 13
assists. Kelsey Nester (fr. Catasauqua/Catasauqua) had
six kills, while Danielle Ozment (fr. Reading/Holy Name)
notched five. Megan O'Connell (fr. Horsham/Hatboro-Horsham)
added seven digs.
Kutztown improves
to 9-2 overall, 1-0 in the PSAC East. Cheyney is 0-1, 0-1.
