KUTZTOWN, Pa. — The Kutztown University women’s volleyball team swept Cheyney 3-0 on Thursday evening in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference East match at Keystone Hall. The set scores were 25-6, 25-6 and 25-7.

The Golden Bears (15-11, 4-3 PSAC East) were led by Jenn Zook (so. Reedsville/Indian Valley) with six kills and three service aces.

Brittni Speck (fr. Hesston/Huntingdon) and Catie Leahy (Collegeville/Perkiomen Valley) each had five kills for Kutztown.

Alex Thomas (so. Quakertown/Quakertown) had 17 assists, four service aces and four digs. Nora Alexander (so. Plymouth Meeting/Plymouth-Whitemarsh) had four service aces.

KU will return to the court on Tuesday night at 7 when they take on Lock Haven in a PSAC East match at Keystone Hall.
