East Stroudsburg 3, Kutztown 0 (25-17, 25-22, 25-21)
 

EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. - Kutztown University's women's volleyball team suffered a 3-0 loss to East Stroudsburg Tuesday night.  Set scores were 25-17, 25-22 and 25-21.

KU led both the second and third sets 16-11, but couldn't hold on for the wins.

Katie Miller (jr. Elizabethtown/Elizabethtown) led the offense with seven kills, along with two blocks.  Cali Snell (fr. York/York Suburban) had five kills, as did Kelsey Nester (so. Catasauqua/Catasauqua).  Nester added 12 digs. 

Jamie Celia (so. Douglassville/Daniel Boone) had 23 assists and six digs.  Lindsey Smith (fr. Hanover/Delone Catholic) notched 18 digs.

Kutztown falls to 15-14 overall, 4-6 in the PSAC East.  East Stroudsburg improves to 15-18 overall, 5-5 in the PSAC East.

KU, which trails ESU by a match for fourth place in the PSAC East, hosts ShippensburgSaturday at 1 p.m.  Ship (5-4) is 1.5 matches ahead of KU in the standings.  The top four teams in the PSAC East qualify for the conference playoffs.
