KUTZTOWN, Pa.
— The Kutztown University
women's volleyball team was swept in straight sets by Lock Haven in
a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Eastern Division
contest Tuesday at Keystone Arena.
Lock Haven (22-4, 8-0 PSAC East) ran
away with the first set 25-10 and KU (15-12, 4-4 PSAC East) kept the
next two sets close early, but fell in both with scores of 25-16 and
25-19.
Jamie Celia (so. Douglassville/Daniel Boone) led the Golden
Bears with 18 assists, nine digs, three service aces and two blocks.
Cali Snell (fr. York/York Suburban) had six kills and
three blocks, and
Kelsey Nester (so. Catasauqua/Catasauqua)
had five kills.
Lindsey Smith (fr. Hanover/Delone Catholic) had 10 digs.
KU will travel to West Chester for a
1 p.m. PSAC East contest Saturday.
