KUTZTOWN, Pa.
— The Kutztown University women’s volleyball team swept
Lincoln
University in three sets, 25-3, 25-14 and 25-20, Thursday night at
Keystone Hall.
Alex Thomas (so. Quakertown/Quakertown) led the Golden
Bears (13-11) with 22 assists, five service aces and five digs.
Setting the tone for the offense was
Brittni Speck (fr. Hesston/Huntingdon) with
seven kills
and three digs.
Cali Snell (fr. York/York Suburban) and
Danielle Ozment (so. Reading/Holy Name) each had six
kills.
Lindsey Smith (fr. Hanover/Delone Catholic) had
10 digs and four service aces.
The
Golden Bears will return to action at 7 p.m. Monday when they play
Lycoming at Pine Grove High School.
