West Chester 3, Kutztown 0 (25-18, 25-16, 25-18)

WEST CHESTER, Pa. — The Kutztown University women’s volleyball team fell in straight sets 3-0 to West Chester University in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference East match Saturday.

The Golden Bears (15-13, 4-5 PSAC East) lost by set scores of 25-18, 25-16 and 25-18.

Lindsay Confer (so. Wingate/Bald Eagle Area) and Kelsey Nester (so. Catasauqua/ Catasauqua) led the Golden Bears with eight kills apiece. Nester added 10 digs and two blocks.

Jamie Celia (so. Douglassville/Daniel Boone) had a team-high 26 assists and 12 digs.

Cali Snell (fr. York/York Suburban) and Brittni Speck (fr. Hesston/Huntingdon) each chipped in with four kills and two blocks.

The Golden Bears will travel to East Stroudsburg for a 7 p.m. PSAC East contest Tuesday.
