Gannon defeats Kutztown

ERIE, PA (September 19, 2009) – The Kutztown University volleyball team battled hard before dropping a 3-0 decision to host Gannon University in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) crossover match Saturday afternoon. (BOXSCORE)

The Golden Bears (6-4 overall) fell 25-20, 25-12, 25-20. Leading Kutztown were Katie Lutz and Brianna Risch, who combined for 11 kills. Lutz had a team-high six kills while Risch contributed five. Dana Wright finished with 12 assists and Jamie Celia added 10 digs for Kutztown.

The Golden Bears will return to action next weekend when they travel to East Stroudsburg on Friday and Lock Haven on Saturday.
