Rachel Wisemiller led four players in double figures with 18 points to help Kutztown defeat Le Moyne College, 66-54 Tuesday afternoon. Melissa McQuade recorded a double-double with 10 points and 14 rebounds to help the Golden Bears improve their record to 6-2. In Kutztown’s only game last week, a 74-34 victory over Washington Adventist, Wisemiller scored a team-high 14 points, grabbed eight rebounds and handed out five assists. Full Story

Kutztown defeated University of the Sciences, 87-54. The Golden Bears used a 14-0 run early in the second half to pull away from USP. In the annual media day gathering at Starters Sports Pub, the Kutztown University women’s basketball team has been picked to finish third in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division preseason women’s basketball coaches’ poll. The Golden Bears received two of the eight first-place votes. Junior forward Melissa McQuade was named to the preseason all-conference team.Full Story
