Weidensaul, who hit the 20-point mark for the fourth time this season, shot 8-of-11 from the field and was 2-of-3 from 3-point land. The hot shooting was contagious as the Golden Bears shot 57.1 percent in the first half and found themselves up 38-29 going at halftime.

KU (9-10, 2-2 PSAC East) didn’t let up in the second half, as it continued its hot shooting, outscoring Bloomsburg 33-23 in the second frame.

Lara Dellegrotti (jr. Berwick/Berwick) played a season-high 32 minutes and chipped in 12 points, shooting 4-of-11 from the field and hit three 3-pointers.

Colleen Kegerreis led the way for the Huskies (5-13, 1-3 PSAC East), scoring 16 points and grabbing five boards.

The win snaps the Golden Bears two-game losing streak in conference play. KU will look to make it two victories in a row when it hosts Cheyney at 6 p.m. Feb. 2 at Keystone Hall.
