MILLERSVILLE, Pa. — The Kutztown University women's basketball team fell 75-64 in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference quarterfinals to Millersville Tuesday at Pucillo Gymnasium.

The Golden Bears were led by Melissa McQuade (so. Pittsburgh/Shaler), who scored a team-high 25 points and pulled down 11 rebounds. She was 10-of-11 from the free-throw line and 3-for-4 from 3-point range.

Rachel Wisemiller (jr. Hazleton/Hazleton) scored 15 points and Meredith Starr (so. Richmond, Va./Monacan) had 11.

KU shot 48.1 percent in the first half to keep the game close, but struggled in the second half, shooting just 30.4 percent.

Millersville struggled throughout the game from the floor, shooting 34.3 percent overall.

Gladine St. Julien led Millersville with 26 points, and Aiesha Bellamy had 12 points and 11 rebounds.
