FARMINGDALE, N.Y. - Krista Tressler is tied for first and KU is in second place after round one of the Hofstra Invitational at Bethpage Red Golf Course.

Tressler shot an 81 on the par 70, 6,206 yard course.  Her score set a KU record for a par 70 course.  KU has a team score of 346, also a program record for a par 70.  The Golden Bears are four shots off the pace, as the leading Hofstra blue team carded a 342.

Kelli Pry and Angela Petak shot 88 to tie for ninth.  Lauren Foulke carded an 89 for 11th place and Samantha Rumbley recorded a 93 for 13th place.

The final round takes place on Saturday.
