PISCATAWAY, NJ (Oct. 10, 2009) – The Kutztown University women's golf team stayed consistent with a 345 on both days at the Rutgers Invitational to place 15th amongst the 18-team field.

The Golden Bears competed against 17 Division I schools on the par-71, 6,300-yard Rutgers Golf Course.

Samantha Rumbley (Bel Air, MD/C. Milton Wright) followed up her season-best 79 on day one with an 85 to lead the Golden Bears to finish with an 164.

Mindy Glatfelter (Wrightsville/Eastern York) and Chelsea Corbo (Harrisburg/Central Dauphin East) each shot 86 on the second day. Glatfelter finished in with a total of 170, while Corbo shot a 178.

Nina Antos (State College/State College Area) improved by four strokes on the second day to finish with a 180 (92, 88) and sophomore Morgan Todd (Flemington/Hunterdon Central) shot a 97 on both days.

The KU golfers will wrap up the fall portion of its schedule next week in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Championship at Wren Dale Country Club in Hershey.
