KUTZTOWN, Pa.
— The Kutztown University women's soccer team won its sixth
straight game with
Chelsea Bressler (fr. Cleona/Annville-Cleona) scoring two
goals in a 3-0 win over Philadelphia University Wednesday afternoon
at Keystone Field.

Bressler also had an assist on the first
goal of the game, scored by
Nina
Zerrer (fr. Wooster, Ohio/Wooster).
At the 13:40 mark of the game, Bressler
dribbled along
the goal line, Zerrer received the cross and put it into the
net.
Less than a minute
later, Bressler cruised past the defenders and faked the
goalie out for an unassisted goal, giving the Golden Bears (6-3-1) a
2-0 advantage.
Bressler
capped off the scoring when she headed a kick from
Jen
Tice (so. Barnegat, N.J./Sourthern Regional) at the 20:48
mark.
Steph Addleman (fr. Chambersburg/Chambersburg)
made eight saves to hold the Rams (2-6-3) scoreless. It was her
third shutout as a freshman.
KU outshot Philadelphia by a 18-11 margin
and held the advantage in corner kicks, 8-0.
"Today we had a great effort from
everyone and we played with great efficiency," KU head coach Erik
Burstein said. "We were able to possess the ball well and really
created some excellent chances, which we were able to capitalize
on."
The Golden Bears will host Indiana
University of Pennsylvania at Keystone Field at 1 p.m. Saturday.
