KUTZTOWN, PA. (November 1, 2009) – The Kutztown University women’s soccer team will host East Stroudsburg University in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) quarterfinal match at Keystone Field beginning at 1 p.m.

Kutztown (13-4-2 overall, 8-3-1 PSAC East) finished the regular season in second place with 25 points. The Golden Bears defeated East Stroudsburg this season twice by 1-0 scores. This will be the first postseason home contest under third-year coach Erik Burstein.

The other first-round pairings are Bloomsburg (East 4) at West Chester (E1); Gannon (West 4) at California (W1) and Mercyhurst (W3) at Indiana (W2).

The semifinals and championship will be contested Friday and Saturday at the home of the highest remaining Eastern Division team. Semifinal pairings will be determined after Tuesday’s semifinal matches as the highest seeded team in the East will play the lowest remaining seeded team in the West.
