How Does KUBoK Work ?

Training

All individuals interested in volunteering their time for evening patrols are required to participate in a training session prior to being scheduled to walk. Training sessions are scheduled several times during the academic year and last approximately one hour in length. The location of the sessions vary between on campus facilities and within the Kutztown community.

Training sessions are conducted by KU Ambassadors who serve as the neighborhood watch coordinators and Kutztown Police Officer Walt Skavinsky, the Neighborhood Watch Orientation conductor.

Next Training:

Wednesday, February 1 at 7 p.m.
Academic Forum, Room 101
Open to students, faculty, staff and residents of the greater Kutztown Community.
