Students who are seeking pregnancy testing should schedule an appointment with a nurse in Clinical Services.

Dates of Service: By appointment, students may schedule for an annual exams, pap smears, oral contraceptives, depo injections, and problem visits routinely on Tuesdays during the spring semester. Pill checks and pill dispensing appointments require an up-to-date pap exam on file. No problems can be addressed at pill dispensing appointments.

Students who are seeking birth control pills - Birth control pills will be available to students who have had a pap smear and annual exam done within the last twelve months. Patients who are not currently on the pill will be given three packs of pills, followed by a pill check appointment. After that appointment, three to six packs will be dispensed until the next annual exam is due. Schedule your pill pick-up visits at least two months prior to when you need them. If you call on short notice for a pill refill and cannot get a timely appointment, you may need to be given a prescription to have filled at the local drug store.

Students who are seeking a depo provera injection: 1) must have annual exam notes on file within the last 12 months, including the date of the last injection, if appropriate.

Plan your appointment based upon the availability of provider. It is suggested that you schedule your appointment several weeks in advance. Note the last date of service in a semester as you plan your visits. This is especially true when seeking birth control pills or a depo provera injection. Please contact Clinical Services during semester breaks.
