As a commuter and adult student, you may be interested in enjoying the flexibility of one of several campus-dining programs. Meal plans allow students to choose the place and style of dining to match the busy schedule of a commuter student.
Meal plans are subject to change.
There are many meal plans to choose from
but the following plans may be better suited for commuter and adult students:
- 75 Block Meal Plan - This plan
offers flexibility with the dining program
because it can be used for all meal periods
(one per meal period). Its features
include a cash allowance for every meal at
ALL dining locations on campus and
$150.00 in flex dollars. This plan
also includes five (5) guest meals for use
in the South Dining Hall Galleria only.
- 5 Gold Meal Plan - This plan
offers the most flexibility with the dining
program because it can be used for all meal
periods, one meal per meal period, at all
locations on campus. Its features
include: a cash allowance for every meal (5
available) at ALL dining locations, a
$150.00 flex dollar fund, and five (5) guest
meals for use in the South Dining Hall
Galleria only.
- Flex Only - Flex dollars work the same as cash and can be used at any campus dining location. This option is
a good option for the commuter student that does not spend a significant amount of time on campus and can be used at any dining point throughout the academic year.
-
Bear Bucks - Bear Bucks works
the same way as Flex Dollars but it also
comes with the two added features of being
able to be used at other non-dining
locations such as the Bookstore and unlike
Flex Dollars, any unused funds will be
refunded at the end of the year.
- Brown Bag Helpful Hint! - If you prefer to bring your own lunch to campus there is a refrigerator and microwave in the mini-kitchen of the Commuter Lounge located on the upper level of the McFarland Student Union.
