  CONNECTIONS: Family Program

"Going to college can be just as much of an adjustment for the family as it is for the student."

The Office of New Student Programs & Services runs a special Family CONNECTIONS Program for family members of new freshmen students.

This program gives you the opportunity to become comfortable with:

  • your student’s new home away from home.

  • the people he or she will be interacting with on a daily basis.

This one-day program is held on the first day of each of the nine freshmen orientation cycles in June. Since the family program is held completely independent of the student program, you are not limited to choosing the same date as your son/daughter and may choose the date that best fits your schedule.

Family CONNECTIONS is an optional program.

Attendance requires a $25 fee per person.

Due to the topics covered, the program is geared for adults.
