Kutztown University - New Student Programs and Services

CONNECTIONS, a program designed to orient new students to Kutztown University, offers interactive sessions conducted by student and faculty facilitators. CONNECTIONS is a great way for new students to get a clear picture of the various aspects of life at KU, not to mention a great opportunity to meet new people.

The CONNECTIONS program takes place in the form of nine (9) two-day cycles held during the month of June. Students select the CONNECTIONS orientation date that they would like to attend online via Kutztown University's Online Student Services and are then assigned to one of the nine (9) cycles.

When choosing a date please make sure you have no other obligations or conflicts as CONNECTIONS requires full participation over the two-day cycle and no one is granted early dismissal. Once your registration form is received you will be assigned a date and notified of that date through the mail. Cycles are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis, so get your registration in as soon as possible.

**Information regarding date selection for 2008 Freshman CONNECTIONS cycles will be mailed to all new freshman (who have paid their Advanced Registration Deposit) on or about March 31, 2008. Mailings will continue after March 31st as new Advanced Registration Deposits are received. Confirmation of date selection will begin May 1st and continue through the month of June.**

Since advisement and registration for classes are held during the CONNECTIONS program, everyone who plans to enroll at Kutztown University, full time, must attend. CONNECTIONS IS MANDATORY. If you do not complete the program you are unable to register for classes.

The CONNECTIONS program includes the: university ID card, meals, lodging, activities and a resource manual. New students will have an opportunity to visit the KU Bookstore, therefore, they may want bring to bring extra money. Other than that, everything else is included!
