Enforcement
The Enforcement Committee deals with specific
topics concerning the responses to illegal use of drugs and alcohol and
the impact this usage has on the community. The committee is comprised
of representatives of local, regional, and state law enforcement
agencies, community members, and Kutztown University faculty, students
and staff. The members establish programs and develop response
mechanisms to promote safety and responsibility in the community.
Members also work to coordinate enforcement initiatives during
anticipated high-incident times of the year.

Formal & Informal Education
The Formal and Informal Education Committee is comprised of university and community members who strive to emphasize the critical role that faculty and adults play in influencing student behavior in and out of the classroom. The committee members are committed to enhancing campus and community awareness through collaborative alcohol and other drug programming, increased communication, and cooperation among academic divisions, administration, and student services. A significant concept in the process is the promotion of alcohol and other drug curriculum infusion.

Priority Populations
The Priority Populations Committee is comprised of Kutztown University students and faculty, as well as members of the Kutztown community, who are interested in targeting programs and activities to specific student populations in the Kutztown community. These programs are designed to address the issues associated with high risk and underage use of drugs and alcohol while promoting safety and responsibility. Specific topics to be addressed by this committee will be determined by the group's membership, but include underage tobacco purchase, club drugs, and responsible drinking promotion for those 21 and older, to name a few.

Public Relations
The Public Relations Committee would work with the Steering Committee and each of the subcommittees to assure that relevant educational information, updates on current Roundtable initiatives and the accomplishments of the Roundtable are routinely communicated to the campus community constituencies. This can be accomplished through a variety of media including a newsletter, web-site, news articles placed in local and regional newspapers and editorials.
