The university employs an outside security agency (Security Guards Inc.) to perform dispatch, security and parking related duties for the department of Public Safety & Police Services. Security Guards Inc. has been employed by Kutztown University since 2001.

Security Personnel Uniforms

• Patrol -Winter Attire
  Shall consist of black uniform pants, and light blue uniform long sleeve shirts. Black ties must be worn with long sleeve shirts. Personnel shall wear black boots or shoes. Company baseball caps must be worn with uniform. Wool hats are optional. Personnel shirts shall have a clearly identified patch on shoulder which states the word " SGI security".

• Patrol-Summer Attire
  Shall consist of black uniform pants, and light blue uniform short sleeve shirts. White T-shirt must be worn under the uniform shirt. Personnel shall wear black boots or shoes. Company baseball caps must be worn. Personnel shirts shall have a clearly identified patch on shoulder which states the word " SGI security".

• Dispatch
  Shall consist of black uniform pants, and company polo shirts. Personnel shall wear black boots or shoes.
