Editor-in-Chief
   
The Editor-in-Chief is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the publication including, but not limited to, design, content, photography, staff relations, and copy. The Editor checks and edits all pages before submission. They hold the authority to finalize all pages and make the final decision regarding any matter related to the production of the Keystonia yearbook.

    The Editor is also in charge of sending pages to the publishing company, setting deadlines and finalizing the ladder for that academic year. Although the editor has the final "say," all ideas, concerns and decisions will be discussed by all staff members so that decisions are made in the best interest of everyone on staff.

    The Editor is also in charge of keeping the staff organized, making sure deadlines are met, and making the book "flow" nicely. Any concerns, conflicts or questions should be taken to the Editor.

Business Manager
   
The Business Manager is responsible for all contacts between the publishing and photography companies the staff works with. They have close contact with the University officials regarding money and contractual issues.

    The Business Manager also tends to act as the treasurer of the club and deals with any purchases, payments, reimbursements, etc.

Copy and Line Editor
   
The Copy Editor edits all articles and captions--pre- and post-layout--ensuring the yearbook is grammatically correct. They should also bring new ideas to each meeting for topics to cover.

    The Keystonia adheres to AP style, which the Copy Editor will follow, while assisting the staff in writing coherent stories that are vibrant, colorful, and appealing. Fact-checking and spell-checking is considered dutifully important.

    The Copy Editor is also responsible for ensuring that all names are spelled correctly based on the information provided by the university through the Electronic Phonebook.

Clubs and Faculty Editor
   
The Clubs/Faculty Editor is responsible for covering both the clubs/organizations pages as well as the faculty pages. They need to identify each faculty department, set up times to take their picture and communicate with the secretary to identify each employee. This section allows room for improvement and may include feature stories.

    The clubs/organizations section also entails setting up times for pictures to be taken, but it also involves reaching out to the clubs and organizations on campus. This section also tends to include feature articles and stories.

Design Editor
   
The Design Editor is responsible all design aspects of the publication including, but not limited to, creating layouts, designing the cover, establishing continuity and flow throughout the book, and selecting appropriate color combinations.

    Typography, photography and the placement of type and photos will draw a lot of attention out of the Design Editor. Each layout includes a headline, some form of copy, photos, and captions by lines and photo credits.

    Color is important and needs to help the flow of the book--this will be the responsibility of the Design Editor with guidance and suggestions from the Editor-in-Chief. This position allows a person's inner creativity and imagination to flourish.

Public Relations / Marketing Coordinator
   
The Public Relations Editor will promote the Keystonia throughout the Kutztown community in order to raise awareness of its existence and increase sales. They will develop a PR campaign which includes a target audience, the message that needs to be sent, and the methods by which the message can be relayed.

    The Public Relations and Marketing Editor will hand in their campaign within the first month of classes and focus on the campaign along with other aspects of the Keystonia to help raise awareness. Such aspects include the Involvement Fair, Graduation Fair, Homecoming, Family Day, Bearfest, Graduation Rehearsal, and Connections.

Sports Editor
   
The Sports Editor writes the copy and captions for all sports pages. They are responsible for gathering necessary information from the coaches and athletes as well as making sure that DaVor Visuals, our photography company, is scheduled to take candid shots for each spread.

    The Sports Editor must work alongside the Design Editor to develop a strong presentation and alongside the photographer to ensure pictures are up to par. They are also responsible for acquiring correct scoreboard information and transferring that onto the spread.

Student Life Editor
   
Student Life encompasses any event, issue, or trend that Kutztown University students are affected by, both on and off campus. This could include a concert, comedian, political election, holiday celebrations, or even a popular trend.

    The Student Life Editor acknowledges such happenings and brings final ideas for pages to the editorial meeting. They must develop the focus of each page, with the help of fellow staff members, and take into consideration other suggestions that may arise regarding the concept and page content.

    The Student Life Editor assigns various responsibilities to their Student Life staff, of which they will need to make sure is staffed well enough to finish tasks that unfold throughout the year.
