Full-Time Temporary Position in Chemistry
Kutztown University enrolls approximately 10,000 students in graduate and undergraduate programs. The University is located
adjacent to the borough of Kutztown in a charming rural
setting and is within 30 minutes driving time of the diverse metropolitan areas Allentown/Bethlehem and Reading, and within 60 minutes of the Philadelphia metropolitan area.

The Department of Physical Sciences invites
applications for a one-year, full-time chemistry instructor
beginning August 2008. A minimum of a Master’s degree in
chemistry or related field is required, and must be conferred by
July 15, 2008. Computer literacy and two years of college-level
teaching experience, or equivalent, are required. Primary
responsibilities will involve teaching 12 contact hours per academic
semester for General Chemistry lecture and laboratories. Successful
interview and demonstration of relevant ability are required along
with a commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching. Salary
competitive.
