Assistant Professor Position in Criminal Justice
Kutztown University enrolls approximately 10,000 students in graduate and undergraduate programs. The University is located
adjacent to the borough of Kutztown in a charming rural
setting and is within 30 minutes driving time of the diverse metropolitan areas Allentown/Bethlehem and Reading, and within 60 minutes of the Philadelphia metropolitan area.

Department of Criminal Justice: Assistant
Professor of Criminal Justice, Tenure track position. Begins
August 2008. Ph.D. in criminal justice or criminology or in a
related field. A well-qualified ABD will be considered, with
completion of degree before time of appointment. A minimum of one
year teaching experience is required. Applicants with a proven
record of scholarship preferred. Teaching load may include
Research Methods in Criminal Justice, Criminology, and Introduction
to Criminal Justice; teaching at off-campus site may be
required. Candidates must complete a successful interview and
demonstrate teaching effectiveness.
