Multiple Temporary Faculty Positions in English
Kutztown University of
Pennsylvania enrolls approximately 10,000 students in graduate and undergraduate programs. The University is located in the borough of Kutztown in a charming rural setting,
and is within 20 minutes driving time of the diverse metropolitan areas Allentown/Bethlehem and Reading, and within 60 minutes of the Philadelphia metropolitan area.

the Agreement between APSCUF and PASSHE.
The Department of
English invites applications for multiple temporary positions to
teach literature, composition, mass media, film and/or professional
writing for the 2012-2013 academic year.
Master’s Degree in English or related
field required; Ph.D. or advanced standing in a doctoral program
preferred.
One year of college-level teaching
experience required.
The 4/4 teaching load may include
composition, literature (e.g., Introduction to Literature,
Documentary Film, Literature and Film, Culture and Media), and/or
professional writing courses (e.g., Writing for the Workplace,
Writing for Public Relations, Journalism), depending on candidates’
expertise and department need.
Professional writing applicants must
have related professional experience.
Successful interview and demonstration
of relevant teaching ability required.
Salary competitive.
