Two Temporary Positions in Sociology
Kutztown University enrolls approximately 10,000 students in graduate and undergraduate programs.
The University is located
adjacent to the borough of Kutztown in a charming rural
setting and is within 30 minutes driving time of the diverse metropolitan areas Allentown/Bethlehem and Reading, and within 60 minutes of the Philadelphia metropolitan area.

populations.
The Department of
Anthropology and Sociology at Kutztown University invites
applications for two full-time, temporary positions in sociology
beginning in the fall semester, 2008. We seek a sociologist
with a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching and with the
expertise and experience to teach in two or more of the following
areas: Urban Sociology, Race and Ethnicity, Juvenile Delinquency,
Methods, or other specialties related to department needs. A Ph.D.
is preferred. ABDs will be considered. College level teaching
experience and a successful interview are requisite qualifications.
The successful candidates are expected to teach four courses per
semester (three preparations). The salary is competitive.
