Tenure Track Position in Strategy and Business
Policy
Kutztown University enrolls approximately 10,000 students in graduate and undergraduate programs. The University is located
adjacent to the borough of Kutztown in a charming rural
setting and is within 30 minutes driving time of the diverse metropolitan areas Allentown/Bethlehem and Reading, and within 60 minutes of the Philadelphia metropolitan area.

The Management Department of Kutztown
University of Pennsylvania invites applications for a tenure-track
position in the Department of Management, effective August 2008
for an individual whose principal research and experience are in the
area of Strategy and Business Policy. The individual may also share
responsibility for teaching Small Business Management,
Entrepreneurship, and/or Innovation. Teaching experience at the
undergraduate and/or graduate level is highly desirable. Additional
job responsibilities include advising students, scholarly activities
(in accordance with AACSB expectations), and participating in
departmental, college of business, and university activities.
Doctorate from an AACSB accredited program
preferred, ABD from an AACSB accredited program who is within one
year of degree completion may be considered. A non-AACSB doctorate
or doctorate in a related field will be considered, however, the
individual must demonstrate that they are academically qualified
according to AACSB standards through their record of scholarly
publications.

publication record, teaching experience; transcripts for all
undergraduate and graduate work (official transcripts are required
prior to on-campus interview); and three current letters of
reference (at least one letter must focus on the applicant’s

2008, and continue until the position is filled. Salary scale is
determined by the Collective Bargaining Agreement and rank and step
is negotiable with the university administration. Successful
interview and teaching demonstration required.
