The Department of Physical Sciences invites applications for a one-year, full-time, instructor or assistant professor faculty position (depending on qualifications) in Geology beginning August 2008.  A Ph.D. in Geology or related field is preferred, but applicants with MS or ABD may be considered.  Applicants must have a commitment to undergraduate teaching.  One year of college teaching experience or equivalent is required.  The teaching load consists of twenty-four contact hours per academic year, and the primary teaching responsibility will be Introduction to Geology lectures and labs.  Successful interview and demonstration of teaching ability are required qualifications.
