(3) Chambliss Faculty Lecture Series : The title of the talk is: Considering Victors, Cave Dwellers, and Curriculum in Art In this presentation, Dr. Marilyn Stewart will suggest some ways that she has rethought curriculum, drawing upon ideas put forward in her recent book, Rethinking Curriculum in Art. In addition, Dr. Stewart will demonstrate how her co-authored elementary and middle school textbook programs and other curriculum projects aim toward deep understanding of enduring ideas about art and our shared human lives. If we are knowingly divided from each other then we cannot expect to be effective towards change. We would like to focus on the unifying aspects of breaking bread together as one family, and the importance of working together to achieve our common goals.
