How many volunteers participate in the Business & Industry Campaign?
A total of about 65 individuals fro the Lehigh Valley and Berks County volunteer each year. Each volunteer solicits 4 or 5 prospects and attends an orientation session and three report meetings.
What are the results of the Business & Industry Campaign?
The 2002-2003 Campaign generated about $225,000 in support of the four College projects, the Community Scholars Program and the Decision Makers Forum.
How many donors contribute to the Business & Industry Campaign?
There were 179 area businesses who contributed to the 2002-2003 Campaign.
How many students received scholarships as a result of this project?
There are currently over 119 students who are benefiting from the Community Scholars Program.
Why are the businesses in Berks County and the Lehigh Valley targeted for this campaign?
The Business & Industry Campaign targets these areas because a majority of KU graduates live and work in these areas following their graduation.
How does a Decision Makers Forum sponsorship benefit my company?
The Decision Makers Forum provides:
An opportunity for employees and clients to hear well known speakers.
An opportunity for employees and clients to network with other business representatives from Lehigh and Berks County.
The Decision Makers Forum program includes a presentation by the speaker to Kutztown University and regional secondary school students which is funded by the Forum's corporate sponsors.
Satisfaction derived from supporting the largest speaking event in the region.
