You can double or triple your gift if you or your spouse are affiliated with a company that will match your gift to Kutztown University. When the proper forms are submitted by the donor, his/her employer will send in a gift of an equal or greater amount. The entire amount received will be credited to the donor.
How Do Matching Gifts Work?
Once you receive the pledge confirmation, contact the company's personnel office, obtain a matching gift form and return it with the pledge payment. If you and your spouse both work for matching companies, it is possible to receive matching gifts form both companies.
Will the company deduct their share of the match from my paycheck?
No. Matching gifts are a FREE benefit for employees and won't cost you in any way.
Does the matching gift count toward my total giving?
Yes! For example if you give a gift of $50 and your company matches 1:1 and they send $50 your total is $100 and you are eligible for the Century Club ($100-$249.99). As a member of the Century Club you are invited to the Alumni Brunch in October here on campus.
