Connecting the Unix Systems -- WinSCP2

To use WinSCP2 with Windows you must first download it from here

WinSCP2 icon
Run WinSCP2


Check Advanced Options, if not already checked. Under the Session Screen: Hostname: acad.kutztown.edu Username: [Type in your email username]

Click on Shell: Select ‘Enter’ under Shell and in the drop down box, select ‘/bin/bash’

Click on SSH and select ‘2 only’
Click on SSH and select ‘2 only’


Under SSH, click on Authentication. Make sure the middle box is checked. Click Login to login to this FTP program. These settings will be saved for the next time you run WinSCP2.
