KU Faculty, Adminstration, Staff and Emeriti

Library materials are loaned for 150 days, except for the books in the Leisure Reading area, which circulate for 28 days.

KU employees may borrow up to 100 books at one time. Educational kits in the Curriculum Materials Center circulate for 7 days and can only be renewed by KU Employees, one time. Reference books, microforms, archive materials, rare books, magazines and journals do NOT circulate.

Materials can be renewed for one 150 day period.

Borrowing privileges will be blocked when 10 or more items are overdue.

An overdue notice is mailed 10 days after the due date. A second notice follows at 30 days after the due date. The second notice will bill the patron for the replacement cost of the items. KU employees are required to pay the replacement cost for materials that are lost or damaged beyond repair.

If after paying for a book, it is found and returned, the replacement cost will be refunded.

PLEASE NOTE: These policies do not include the non-print materials in the Audiovisual Center on the ground floor. Please check directly with the Center, at 610-683-4260 for details of their policies, or go to http://www.kutztown.edu/library/avcenter/media.asp
