• Food and beverages are permitted in certain areas of the Library. Beverages must be in sturdy containers able to be sealed so the drink cannot spill, and kept sealed except when you are drinking. Areas where food and drink are not permitted are the computer lab on the second floor, the AV Center, and the Reference computer area. Patrons are responsible for any damage to library materials, accidental or otherwise, caused by a refreshment they have with them.

• Patrons need to clean off any work surface after using it for eating or drinking.
• Patrons are asked to discard any containers or trash in the numerous trashcans distributed throughout the building.
• Patrons are asked to be careful with food and drink. If there is a spill, patrons are asked to report the incident immediately to one of the service areas.
