Audiovisual Center Reserves Policy
The Audiovisual Center is pleased to assist Kuztown University with a non-print reserve
service so that students may review supplemental classroom material or a missed classroom presentation. Video and sound materials that are supplied by the department will be placed on reserve for the time period specified by the faculty member. Materials from the Audioviusal Center collection will be placed on reserve for a maximum of three weeks.
The Audiovisual Center staff need a minimum of two days so that materials can be prepared for reserve circulation. Time is also needed to notify faculty of the temporary Call Number(s) that students will use to request the reserved materials.
The following guidelines will insure the most efficient non-print reserve service is provided to KU faculty and students:
- Faculty members should complete a "Software Reserve Request" form in the Audiovisual Center and submit it with the materials to be placed on reserve to the Audiovisual Center Secretary. Please do not present materials to student employees.
- Reserve materials will be available for student use and faculty will be notified of the reserve call number(s) within 48 hours.
- All reserves must be utilized in the Rohrbach Library Audiovisual Center while the reserve is active.
- Materials will be circulated in compliance with current copyright laws.
