Coordinates the activities of the electronic resources and periodicals department. Evaluates and recommends electronic databases for purchase. Provides information literacy instruction to students and faculty. Participates in reference program. Liaison to Psychology and Human Kinetics departments and the College of Graduate Studies. He serves as advisor to the Vegetarian Education Group and co-advisor to the Outdoors Club.

Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the department. Oversees document delivery service. Maintains serials holding list. Prepares periodicals for binding. Hires and supervises student assistants. Provides service to patrons using the library’s electronic resources, periodicals, assistive technology center, and computer lab. Orders and receives articles through document delivery services. Processes and maintains invoices for electronic database and serial subscriptions. Oversees the Library’s Assistive Technology Center (RL207). Serves on KU’s ADA Taskforce.

Provides assistance to students using library microcomputers. Assists with document delivery service. Helps patrons using electronic resources and periodicals. Serves as night supervisor. Acts as a backup for Access Services and AV Services during evening and Sunday hours.
