  • Academic Search Premier. Excellent multidisciplinary resource. Includes 3,000+ titles with almost half in full-text format. Includes a mix of popular and scholarly titles. Includes a lot of titles in PDF format.
  • ProQUEST Periodical Collections. Excellent multidisciplinary resource. Periodical Abstracts Research II comprises abstracts and indexing for articles in more than 2,190 periodicals, many in full-text.
  • Digital Dissertations. Citations and abstracts for doctoral dissertations since 1861 and master's theses since 1988. Complete database available only on campus.
  • ERIC. Citations and abstracts from over 980 educational-related journals, as well as full text of more than 2,200 digests from the U.S. Department of Education Resource Information Center database.

  • Criminal Justice Abstracts (CSA) 
    Criminal Justice Abstracts provides comprehensive coverage of the major journals in criminology and related disciplines, extensive coverage of books, and unparalleled access to reports from government and nongovernmental agencies. Updated quarterly.
    Coverage 1968 to the present.
  • FBI's Uniform Crime Reports (WWW) 
    This excellent resource breaks down crime by type, number, and area (even includes rural towns).
    Most current edition.
  • SocINDEX with Full Text (EBSCO) 
    SocINDEX with Full Text is the world's most comprehensive and highest quality sociology research database. The index features more than 1,300,000 records with subject headings from a 15,000 term sociology-specific thesaurus designed by expert lexicographers. SocINDEX with Full Text contains full text for 235 "core" coverage journals dating back to 1895, and 72 "priority" coverage journals. This database also includes full text for 545 books and monographs, and full text for 6,601 conference papers.
