Subject Specific Databases AMA Titles: Abstracts & Indexing (ProQuest)  Provides indexing and abstracting for journals published by the American Medical Association. Most current edition. CINAHL  The Cumulative Index to Nursing & Allied Health Literature (CINAHL), is the authoritative resource for nursing and allied health professionals and provides indexing and abstracting for over 1,600 current nursing and allied health journals and publications. Clinical Pharmacology  Clinical Pharmacology contains current, concise and clinically-relevant drug monographs for all U.S. prescription drugs, hard-to-find herbal and nutritional supplements, over-the-counter products and new and investigational drugs. Health Source: Nursing/ Academic Edition  Health Source: Nursing/Academic Edition provides nearly 600 scholarly full text journals, including more than 450 peer-reviewed journals focusing on many medical disciplines. MEDLINE  MEDLINE, created by the National Library of Medicine, provides authoritative information on medicine, nursing, dentistry, veterinary medicine, the health care system, pre-clinical sciences. It Includes over 8.7 millon records and covers more than 3,600 journals. Updated monthly. 1966 to the present. PsycINFO (EBSCOHost)  PsycINFO contains more than one million citations and summaries of journal articles, book chapters, books, dissertations and technical reports, all in the field of psychology. Coverage 1887 to the present PubMed (WWW) PubMed, a service of the National Library of Medicine, includes over 15 million citations for biomedical articles back to the 1950's. These citations are from MEDLINE and additional life science journals. PubMed includes links to many sites providing full text articles and other related resources.
