Full
Text
The complete
electronic text of an article is called the full text. Some
databases, like EBSCO's Academic Search Premier and ProQuest
Research Library,
provide entire articles online. Databases that offer full text articles
will have one or both of these symbols next to them:

What if there
are pictures or graphs with the article that you want to see?
Increasingly
database vendors are including scanned versions of articles in pdf
(portable document format). This format uses Adobe Acrobat to
view and is essentially an electronic copy of the article. So,
it will include all the formatting including pictures, charts,
graphs, etc.
