The Kutztown University Council of Trustees will hold a regular meeting on Thursday, March 6, 2008, at 4:00 p.m. at the Stratton Administration Building, room 301.

“FrenchConnection@KU” will meet on Thursday, March 6, from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the Bear's Den of the McFarland Student Union. All French speakers on campus, who are interested in practicing their conversation skills at any level in a relaxed and friendly setting, are cordially invited.

The Phoenix Group will be sponsoring a panel discussion of students with disabilities on Wednesday, March 5, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. in 261 Boehm Science Building.  Come to learn what the disabilities are and how the students cope with college life.

On Tuesday, March 18, the Phoenix Group will be sponsoring a consciousness raising/simulation event about disabilities from 6p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in 250 McFarland Student Union.

Hike for Universal Health Care

UPCOMING EVENTS


Association of Campus Events is sponsoring a Murder Mystery Dinner on Thursday, March 6. Doors open at 5 p.m. with dinner served at 5:30 p.m. Tickets for this free event can be obtained at the Information Desk in the McFarland Student Union. 


The Early Learning Center will host its annual open house for fall enrollment on March 6 from 6 to 8 p.m. in 117 Rickenbach. Tour the school and learn about the preschool (part-day/full day) and kindergarten (full day) programs. Children are encouraged to attend.

Decision Makers Forum to Host Bill Bradley and Jeb Bush

 

At 4 p.m., Thursday, March 27, the Decision Makers Forum will host Bill Bradley, former U.S. Senator from New Jersey, and Jeb Bush, former Governor of Florida, at the Sovereign Bank Academic Session in Keystone Arena. 

These national political figures will participate in a question and answer session open to students, faculty, and staff. Join us for what promises to be an in-depth look at public policy and current U.S. politics as we enter the 2008 presidential election cycle. Your participation will help shape the content of this annual program, entering its 19th year. Admission is FREE for KU students, faculty and staff, and tickets are required. You can pick up tickets in the McFarland Student Union coat room at any of the following designated times:

Monday, March 3, 4 p.m. – 7 p.m.
Tuesday, March 4, 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Wednesday, March 5, 4 p.m. – 7 p.m.

Brian Johnson, a certified trainer in Prejudice Reduction and Controversial Issues Process and founder and chief motivational educator of Manna Unlimited Motivations, will feature an interactive workshop on "Building a House for Diversity."
