Holiday
Marketplace – Basket of Holiday Treasures. On behalf of Off Campus Student
Life/OCAC and KUBoK, I would like to extend a sincere thank you and deepest
appreciation to the following individuals and departments for their assistance
and generosity in their creations of this year’s Baskets of Holiday
Treasures! Every basket was extremely well done, filled many wonderful
temptations and surprises. Every basket was a winner! All the recipients
were thrilled with their treasures and KUBoK was delighted with the support
shown for the organization’s efforts – a volunteer coalition of community
residents and KU students, faculty, administrators and staff, working together
to maintain a safe and friendly community.

The Events Advisory Council (EAC) has established the deadline for early
consideration for room reservations and activities scheduled for the
2010-2011 academic year as March 5, 2010 (at 4 p.m.).
All faculty and staff members should have recently received (by e-mail) the detailed procedures for registering events/facilities. If you have not received the information, please contact the Office of Conference Services. Departments and organizations may submit early registration requests for their events by using the EMS Web Requester. Reminder - any early registration request for a student organization must be submitted by that organization’s advisor. A reminder that Schaeffer Auditorium is scheduled to be taken off-line on January 1, 2011, for much needed renovations. We understand that the loss of this venue (for approximately 18 months) will present some challenging scheduling issues for the university. The university has been painstakingly researching alternate locations to make available for use during the renovation period. As alternate locations are identified the information will be made readily available to everyone. It is anticipated that the alternate locations will be confirmed and available for request through the room reservation system early in the spring semester (prior to the March 5, 2010 early registration deadline).
If you have any questions regarding the process feel free to contact my office at ext. 3-1359 (or e-mail at sitler@kutztown.edu). Thank you.
