Announcements

Fire Alarm Testing Continues.
Simplex Grinnell inspectors are continuing their campus-wide checks of the automatic fire alarm systems on campus.  Careful consideration has been taken to minimize disruptions to building operations, and most testing can be done silently.  However,  buildings with everyday operations may experience brief periods of activation of the fire alarm systems’ audible and visual devices during normal working hours.  These tests will be preceded by an announcement to warn occupants of the tests, and there will be no need to evacuate during these tests.  The office of Environmental Health and Safety appreciates your tolerance and cooperation during these annual, required tests.

Storeroom Inventory: The University Storeroom will be conducting our annual inventory the week of June 15 - 19.  During this time the Storeroom will be unable to make campus deliveries.  We will resume our regular delivery schedule on Monday, June 22.

While the storeroom is conducting inventory, the SAP System will not allow users to process Material Reservations online.  The University Storeroom will begin running the necessary transactions in preparation for inventory at 1 p.m., Friday, June 12. It is imperative that campus users refrain from attempting to use the Material Reservation Transaction codes during this time.  The system will resume accepting Material Reservation transactions beginning on Monday, June 22.

Please remember that users should not attempt to input Material Reservations during this time, the transaction will not only be rejected but it will also have an impact on the Storeroom Inventory Process.

If you have any questions, concerns, or emergency needs during this time, please feel free to contact Tim Good, Storeroom Supervisor at ext. 3-4139 or via e-mail at good@kutztown.edu
