Announcements

The Brothers of Sigma Alpha Epsilon
(
SAE) are hosting the memorial blood drive held in honor of Michael D. Nusca. The blood drive is today in the Multi-Purpose Room in the MSU, 10 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Appointments begin at 10 a.m. and continue every 15 minutes. Walk-ins are always welcome!

We invite students, staff, and faculty to join us in celebrating the graduation of students who have been a part of the GLBTQ Resource Center or Allies during their college career at Kutztown University. The Lavender Graduates celebration will be held tomorrow, Dec. 7, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m., in the GLBTQ Resource Center, OM 4. If you are a December graduate and plan to attend, please contact the center at x6-6111. Refreshments will be served.

Thank you to all faculty and support staff for submitting your textbook adoption and course material information to the bookstore.  Your timely efforts will make it possible to purchase more textbooks from students when textbook buyback begins this week.  This will put cash in students’ pockets and increase the number of used textbooks available next semester, saving them a substantial amount of money.

Attention Faculty:  Have you considered textbook rental for your students?
If your textbook is in a newer edition and you plan to use it for at least 3 more semesters, please contact Jackie at x6-4194 or by e-mail jdowning@kutztown.edu at the KU Student Bookstore.  She will explain to you how you may be able to help save the students up to 60% off the price of their textbooks beginning this spring. Whether or not you sent in your textbook adoption, Jackie will work with you to make it happen.  Let’s work together to make textbooks more affordable for students.
