Announcements

Please announce to students:  KU Southwest Buffet 12:30 until 2 p.m. on the McFarland Student Union lawn today. Free taco bar, lawn games, and music.

Note:  Although, we wish we could allow the entire KU campus to participate in this event, we regret that we can no longer guarantee that food/goods will be available for staff/faculty.  This event is 100 percent funded by the summer student activity fee funds and serving the students must remain a priority.  Should supplies allow, we will welcome KU faculty/staff to participate after 1:15 p.m.  Thank you in advance for your understanding.  If there are any questions please contact the Student Union and Involvement Services Office.

As we begin a new fiscal year, we want to take this opportunity to remind all staff and faculty about certain travel reimbursement requirements.
Please remember the following when submitting your travel expense form:

Before any travel occurs or money is spent, the traveler needs to complete a travel expense form and obtain authorization, in the form of a signature, from the following:

Additionally, all international travel must have approval from the Provost before any travel occurs.

As indicated above, failure to provide advance authorization, may result in your request being denied and will definitely result in a delay in processing your travel expense reimbursement.

If you are attending a seminar or workshop, an agenda needs to be attached to your travel expense form.  You need to reduce your allowable per diem for any meals that are offered by the seminar and workshop.

We can only reimburse for the lower of shuttle, cab/car service, or car rental when traveling from the airport to your hotel destination.

Further information can be located on the back of the travel expense form, AP website http://www.kutztown.edu/admin/accounts/ , or by calling the Accounts Payable office at ext. 3-4147.
