Apr. 27 for Special Olympics - As a part of
KU’s commitment to the community, we will be hosting the Berks County Special
Olympics on Wednesday, Apr. 27. The F-1 parking Lot (behind Stratton
Administration Center) and the F-4 Lot (between University Field and the old
heating plant) will have limited access in an effort to accommodate the buses
transporting the Special Olympics participants to University Field. Faculty and staff who normally park in F-1 or F-4 will have the option of parking in A-3 (near Beekey Education Building) and riding the shuttle to Stratton. The shuttle stop at lot A-3 will be clearly marked along College Blvd. The shuttle will also run in the afternoon from 4 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. to return employees to the A-3 lot via the campus loop. The parking spots in F-1 closest to the Stratton Building (currently handicapped and 30-minute parking) will be reserved for KU employee handicapped parking and for daily business purposes only. We ask that all employees please be aware of the event date and plan accordingly. We truly appreciate your cooperation in helping our university support such a worthy cause.
