Kutztown University women's swimming team was named to the College Swimming Coaches' Association of America (CSCAA) Spring 2011 Scholar All-America list announced by that organization recently. Kutztown University's 3.27 cumulative grade-point average ranked 18th nationally. This is the fifth consecutive season and seventh time in the last eight years that KU has earned a spot on the CSCAA Scholar-All-America Team. In addition, several KU student-athletes were recognized by the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference as 2010-11 scholar-athletes: Kerry Choplin, Monica Fisher, Stephanie Kearns, Katie Kelly, Lauren Malloy, Krista Schlupp and Allison Sheely. To read more, please visit the KU Athletics website at http://www.kubears.com/news/2011/7/27/WSWIM_0727112220.aspx From now through Aug. 22 there will be intermittent periods when both the surrounding lots and the metered parking lot will be blocked off in order to reduce the potential for overspray contact or damage to vehicles. Please note when the barriers are put in place to block parking, it is being done to protect your vehicles. Please be sure to share this information with those who may be impacted by this and not have access to email. Thank you for your continued patience as this project progresses. Trisha J.
