ANNOUNCEMENTS

Would you like to take a campus tour and help us train our new tour guides? The Undergraduate Office of Admissions invites faculty and staff to shadow a new tour guide at 11 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 29. If you would like to participate, please email nbecker@kutztown.edu by the end of the day on Friday, Aug. 26.
Nicole Becker, assistant director, Undergraduate Office of Admissions

The Office of New Student Programs will be welcoming about 80 orientation leaders from Albright College to campus from 12:30 – 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 23. They will be doing a scavenger hunt of sorts through out campus as small groups. This is an exchange of ideas program with KU’s CONNECTIONS program, in which the orientation leaders go to a different campus to remember what it is like as a new freshman on campus and finding their way around for the first time. At each building, they will also be doing a small ice breaker. There will be no interruption to university business, we just want to make the campus aware of this unique experience and exchange that is happening – please join us in welcoming these student leaders from Albright if you see them outside your building.
Jerry W. Schearer, assistant dean, New Student Programs and Services

Thanks to everyone who advised us on the hack to the Keystone online website! The appropriate folks at the Keystone were notified in early July about the hack and continue to work on the problem. Because the site is housed on an outside server, it is outside of KU control. Links on the KU website to the Keystone have been temporarily disabled until the problem is resolved.
