ANNOUNCEMENTS

The copper-brass lamp outside the Boxwood House on Kutztown’s main street shines down upon the historical past to present-day Kutztown University. The brass lamp was found during renovations to the building in 2009. The lamp dates back to 1869 and is a true piece of KU history. Once discovered, the lamp was taken to Hauck Metal Refinishing Service in Lyons, Pa., to be refinished, polished and reinstalled on the Boxwood House, the home of Graduate Admissions and International Admissions. For more campus curiosities, read your edition of the summer Tower magazine or check it out online at www.kutztown.edu/tower.
